Fired up wife

Welcome Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Divas! and Dudes. Dudes are welcome too.

I’m currently a stay-at-home Mom to two beautiful kids. Not to be trite, but this job is not for the faint hearted. The balance of not losing yourself completely and the pressure of not raising two little shitheads is a hard pill to swallow. It makes you look inward. Understand your strengths and admit your weaknesses. And when I looked inward I realized something. I have a temper. I get fired up. At people, places, situations. I prefer to call it passion or enthusiasm or something a little less negative, but who am I kidding. I either love you or hate you, black or white. Lucky for my husband and kids I love them. There’s also this weird dichotomy; I’m extremely shy in new environments, but once I feel comfortable, I hand out my opinion like a fat kid eats a cupcake (as often as I can). Obviously, since becoming a mom, I’m finding not everything is as clear-cut as I’d like it to be and there is a lot of gray (both figuratively and literally). I seriously LOVE that color.

These are my stories of living a life fired up…
